Aftercare

Proper after care ensures your case lasts longer, and your prosthesis remains safe and well-protected.

Daily use & handling

Your Cwtch case is crafted from softshell EVA, a durable, lightweight material known for its ability to protect delicate items from pressure, bumps, and moisture. To keep it functioning at its best:

Always place your prosthesis carefully on the inner bump.

Make sure the case is zipped closed before placing it in a bag.

Keep the case away from sharp objects that may puncture the outer shell.

Ensure your prosthesis is thoroughly clean and dry before placing in the case.

Store it in a cool, dry place when not in use.

Remove any marks on your case by gently wiping with a soft damp cloth. Wipe the entire surface to avoid water stains.

Travelling with your Cwtch case

Cwtch was created for travel, whether that’s a holiday, a weekend away, or a swimming trip.

When using the case for travel:

Pack your Cwtch away from electrical items in your suitcase to avoid confusion on airport scanners.

Avoid placing heavy items directly on top.

Use the case as a protective barrier in changing rooms and leisure centres.

The case is designed to fit symmetrical silicone breast prostheses in sizes 2–11 (Trulife measurements), making it suitable for a wide range of wearers.

Frequently Asked Questions

Cwtch is here to offer reassurance, comfort, and a safe place for what matters.

Can I return my case if it isn’t suitable?

What if my case arrives faulty?

You are entitled to a full refund within 30 days. After that, we will offer a replacement where possible.

Does the case come with a guarantee?

Yes, your Cwtch case includes a 6-month guarantee against manufacturing defects.

Can I use the Cwtch case to store my prosthesis in at home?

Yes, it is perfectly safe to store your prosthesis in the case when you are at home. However, Cwtch was designed primarily for use whilst travelling. Therefore, it is recommended that if you wish to use it for longer term storage, you leave the case un-zipped to allow more space around the prosthesis. It does not matter which way up you lie the case.
